About Us

Our start came like many others, my wife purchased a pup in 2004, our first Wire fox terrier, the love for the breed was instant. Her off spring was the first we attempted to show in 2006, a beautiful dog called Man of the Moment (Baillie). On his first open show in Ballymote, Co. Sligo he won, best of breed, group 1 and Best Puppy in show.... As you can see from his profile page Baillie has already gained his Irish Champion title, and has recently received the accolade of being the Irish Annual Champion 2008 in his breed....... Over the past few years showing our dogs has become a way of life at Staremesto... and we wish to thank all the people we have met along the way in the show world, they have all contributed a bit to our knowledge whether it was grooming , showing or breeding.... We hope that with our commitment and knowledge that we are able to help in the development of this breed. Here at Staremesto we breed with the emphasis on temperament, confirmation and health and our goal is only to produce high quality Wires that are structurally correct with good movement. We never breed specifically for a sale. We are dedicated to helping you find the Wire Fox Terrier you seek. All our dogs are happy outgoing healthy specimens of the breed and here at Staremesto we our proud to call them ours.......
